COMMENTS:     I loved reading “your story”. It really touched me. A true horsewoman’s love story. Very nice. We live in Aubrey and breed a little. I have been out here for 5 years boarding horses on our property. Lots of work in the Texas heat.

Sincerely, Lesly Spencer

COMMENTS:     I am writing to tell you how bitter sweet your introduction to your site was for me. I have 3 wonderful horses...Adam, a TB...Dance, a QH, and Aries, a TB x QH. I love them all dearly but I too, had a Top Gun. I began reading your introduction and my heart began beating so hard, I had to get up and go play with my dogs for a while!

I bought 'The Dude' from a horse trader who tried to tell me he was an Arabian cross. He was bone thin and dirty but there was just something about him. I will make this very short...he turned out to be my boyfriend! This was a true gentleman of a horse and my first experience with the Walkers. I never had a moment with him that I was not in heaven! Dude was an amazing horse and one you wanted to bury your nose in his neck and just hang there. Only wings could have made him more.

I lost Dude this past Christmas Eve to a very strange colic. I had had him for 5 years. It was very fast and confusing and I am still hurting so very much. It is difficult for me to even write this to you but, sometimes...you just want to share, and though you do not know me and, I do not know you...when I read your story, I wanted to share mine with you.

We are looking for our own place in the country, now that my kids are all grown, and when we get that, you can bet I will be looking for another Walker to call my own! Surly god doesn't mean that we taste that "sweet" only once. I know there is another out there for me.

I have enclosed a few pictures of my Dude. I found Top Gun so very handsome and though they are so different in color, the way your guy held his head...I saw The Dude.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful story. For a moment, Dude was here again...my heart was racing again and, I thank you for that.

Sincerely,
Jamie Hofstetter

Hello,

I loved your web site!  I have been looking at it all night long while I was at work.  I am going to add it to my favorites at home.  Top Gun was a beautiful horse, and I understand your falling in love with him.  Three years ago, my neighbor had a baby colt born, and I knew I had to have him.  It has been wonderful ever since.  I have been told we have a true connection, and that he loves to make me laugh - all of it very true.  I found your web site because I was looking for any other horses like my Dito.   Dito is a Tennessee Walking horse, and his head is all black, except a star and a snip, and he has two ice blue eyes.   I am head over heals in love with him!

I applaud your dedication to the breed, and your quality breeding.  You have some really fine animals, and Dillon is exceptional!  I just had to tell you that.  I wish all the luck in the future.

Thank you, and God bless.

Hi Mary,
My name is Patti Oestreich Oberdick. I live w/my family, my gifts from God, in Moore, Tx. This morning, I was searching the web and was led to you... your farm... your story. Michael, my husband, and I also have a small breeding farm/ranch of primarily TWH. Your story/Top Gun's story touched me so very much.
Living in the middle of QH country, its difficult to find those who appreciate and cherish the blessings of this exceptional breed.  They fill my heart and soul. Only those, who share the feelings would we consider as a new forever home.  Thank you for sharing your story.
Warmly and with prayer,
Patti Oestreich Oberdick

COMMENTS:     I just want to share with you what a blessing your website has been to me tonight!! It's 11:01 p.m. and at 7:15, I announced to my husband that I must go to bed because of being so "tired". Then, I located you and your wonderful story and the beautiful horses you own or have owned. I have to tell you that I am so sorry about Top Gun. He was absolutely exquisite!!! And, I can't even imagine how you felt about losing him, but I'm in agreement with you, God did put another in your life, not to replace, but to allow your heart to heal. Dillon is marvelous and I'd love to get to meet him.

Let me tell you about me and my interest. I was raised in Gunter and lived there until 1971. My dad was a "cowboy" and I grew up on the back of a horse. My husband (also from Gunter) and I live in Plano and we just recently, about 4 years ago, bought 124 acres in Celina and we are just completing our barn. We only started with a 4 stall barn and I've always had an interest in the Tennessee Walkers. After visiting your website, my interest has definitely escalated. My husband, Jerry, just returned tonight from California where he did buy a paint gelding. We will be getting him in the days to come. Now, my interest lies totally in your ranch and I'd love to know what you have for sale. Could you please let me know what is available and when and I'd love to come visit Dillon. I have my eye on a little paint mare here in Plano and if I get her, I'm already thinking about Dillon for breeding. She's a three year old and I've been in love with her for about a year. As a matter of fact, I think she is probably the real reason for building the barn!!!!

Again, I want to tell you how very much I enjoyed your website and do believe that regardless of my "fatigue", God did send me to it tonight. I am so happy that you finally got Top Gun and his legacy lives on in your ranch. I wait anxiously to hear from you. In Him
~ Judy Curtis
