Marshall Dillon died on October 26,
2005. He was 26 years old. He apparently
died of heart failure. The day prior to
his death he played in the paddock like
a two year old. The next morning he ate
his grain and when he was turned out, he
walked out into the middle of the
paddock and laid down. Without any
struggle, he was gone. He will be
greatly missed. For the last ten years
of his life, he was owned and loved by
Doug Ripley and Terry Smith from
Decatur, Alabama.
