(1979 - 2005)

Also reg. RHBAA and NSSHA - aka GO BOYS SPOTTED LAD - son of Go Boys Main Event and Wonder Liz.  The late Marshall Dillon was considered one of the premier spotted Tennessee Walking horses, known to produce a true walking gait.

Bred by Andrew Boyd, Marshall Dillon was foaled on April 11, 1979 in Morehead, Kentucky. This 15.2 hand liver chestnut tovero stallion was the sire of such greats as:
Got Rox Top Gun - Multi World Champion
Got Rox Wolfman - The 93', 94', 95' SSHBEA WC Model Stallion and '96 TWH Celebration World Champion Model Stallion

He produced 211 foals, including
Spirit of Apache, , Snow Chief Delight, A Southern Gentleman, Dillon And Alen Masterpiece and Dillon Paints The Town.

Marshall Dillon died on October 26, 2005. He was 26 years old. He apparently died of heart failure. The day prior to his death he played in the paddock like a two year old. The next morning he ate his grain and when he was turned out, he walked out into the middle of the paddock and laid down. Without any struggle, he was gone. He will be greatly missed. For the last ten years of his life, he was owned and loved by Doug Ripley and Terry Smith from Decatur, Alabama.
